Dr. Al-Abbadi’s defense team insist that “there is absolutely no law in Jordan that makes it legal for Dr. Al-Abbadi to remain in jail after the first initial sentence of 15 days''. They added, “It is a decision from the top, not based on law….[the government] has not charged him with anything, since there is nothing to accuse him of.”
